Picture this. A guy walks into a bar... and ends up completely blown away by the outrageously fun high-energy swingin' blues and jump blues that this band is playing. Well, the guy was me and the band was The What You Wants and I've been trying to hire them ever since. I'm so lucky to have stumbled upon this gem of a band and so happy to have a venue with such a great floor in which to present them. This band really epitomizes what I'm trying to do with the 200 Grand live band series... find great unknown bands and let the Bay Area in on the fun!

The band's book is filled with great arrangements of all your favorite jump blues and swing tunes. The band is fronted by a very talented vocalist Meagan Geer, and their tempos are a lot like Stompy Jones', so they are perfect for a wide variety of styles of dancing.
